STORYWALKS SERVICES
Storywalks specialize
in audio storytelling projects for communities.

We partner with councils, schools, and community groups to create:
StorySites – place-based audio trails that connect people to towns, history, and culture.
Impact Storytelling – helping organisations and groups tell and share their own stories.
Audio storytelling for Families - playful and meaningful audio storytelling experiences — from grandparent storybooks to fairy-finding quests — that connect families and spark imagination.
South Coast Story – an annual series of human and cultural stories about regional towns.
YouthLab – training young people to produce podcast content and grow their voices.
Our purpose is simple: to use storytelling as a tool for connection, pride, and change. Every project we deliver invests back into youth voice, heritage, connection and community storytelling across the South Coast and beyond.

StorySites
Immersive Audio storytelling in Place Transform your town, region, or attraction into a living story through QR-code audio experiences.
What are StorySites?
StorySites are professionally produced audio stories placed at key locations, accessed through simple QR codes. These are immersive stories with sound and effects that bring history, culture, and local legends to life, enhancing tourism, community pride, and visitor engagement.
Impact Storytelling
Podcast Commissions for Arts, Tourism & Community
We specialise in producing custom podcasts that bring people and places to life. Whether it's capturing the heartbeat of a community, telling rich place-based stories, or showcasing local voices, our audio projects are crafted to connect, inspire, and endure. From concept to final mix, we create sound-rich, story-led experiences that leave a lasting impact.

Audio storytelling for Families
At Storywalks, we believe stories are bridges
— connecting generations, and sparking imagination. Our family audio storytelling projects invite children, parents, and grandparents to step into magical worlds together, where play and meaning are woven into every tale.
From the Grandparent Storybook Project, where grandparents co-create illustrated storybooks and record their voices so their grandchildren can hear them read aloud, to the Fairykeeper Field Training, where children are guided on enchanted audio quests to discover fairy evidence and take their CreatureKeeper oath, each project is designed to turn ordinary time into extraordinary memory. These experiences blend sound, story, and imagination to help families nurture connection, and leave behind keepsakes that can be treasured across the miles.
South Coast Story (in development)
A Regional Celebration of People and Place
South Coast Story is our flagship storytelling project, designed to showcase the voices and spirit of the South Coast through immersive audio and print. Each year, we partner with four towns to create a season of StorySites, human-interest podcast episodes, and a beautifully produced coffee table book that brings the stories together.
For communities, it’s a chance to capture local pride and identity. For councils and tourism bodies, it provides an unforgettable visitor experience that deepens engagement with place. And for the region, it creates a lasting archive — preserving today’s voices as tomorrow’s legacy.
Participation is limited to four towns per year, making South Coast Story a rare opportunity to be featured in this annual celebration of people, place, and community connection.

Youthlab (in development)
Training the next generation of storytellers
YouthLab is our youth audio storytelling program designed to empower young people with the skills, confidence, and creativity to share their own voices. Through guided workshops, toolkits, and mentorship, participants learn interviewing, storytelling, and audio production while creating real podcast segments and episodes.
YouthLab isn’t just about media skills — it’s about building confidence, strengthening community connections, and ensuring youth voices are heard and valued. Available for schools, youth services, councils, and community organisations, YouthLab can be delivered as a short program, an ongoing club, or a commissioned series.
